Natrition Resveratrol Polyphenol Complex with Ginkgo review

Reviewing supplement products is a bit tricky, first unless it has a WOW effect in the beginning, you can't really know if it's doing anything or not, most supplements you have to take over a period of time to know if it's doing anything or not. That being said, I am doing a review on Natrition Resveratrol Polyphenol Complex with Ginkgo, this comes with 3 bottles of product, it contains Trans-Resveratrol (standardized to 50% polygonum cuspidatum extract), Ginkgo Biloba Extract (standardized to 24% flavone glycosides, 6% terpene lactone), Grape Seed Extract (95% Proanthocyanidins), each bottle has 80 capsules and they suggest 3-4 capsules per day.

I did take them but didn't get a WOW from them, but I didn't expect to get a life changing blast from it either, it's mainly antioxidants and those are best taken over a period of time, the effect is subtle.

I do know that Ginkgo Biloba is especially good in this, an anecdotal story here, my dad had been diagnosed with high cholesterol, was put on drugs to control it but the side effects were terrible so he quit taking them, against the advice of his doctor. He did however take Ginkgo Biloba on a daily basis. He had also been diagnosed with congestive heart failure some 15 years before he passed away, he shouldn't have lived that long according to what his final heart doctor told us.

He had 2 (possibly 3, but 2 for sure) angiograms to see if his arteries were clear or clogged, one was around the time he had been originally diagnosed with congestive heart failure, one was done just a few days before he passed. The doctors all had the same reaction, in spite of his high cholesterol, he had clear arteries, no clogging at all. My dad always said it was from taking the Ginkgo Biloba, the reaction of that statement to his doctors was always the same, I don't know what you are doing, but keep it up.

The theory is that the GB keeps the plaque from sticking to or building up on the artery walls.

I have read that resveratrol and grape seed extract are mighty antioxidants, so taken altogether, these are going to do some good. One thing I appreciate is these are made in the USA.
